Fire and Ice interview

Even though Fire and Ice has only written about a dozen songs, they might be my favorite band. On top of that, they're on possibly the best label going, Triple-B, along with Dead End Path, Bane and Downpresser and they're from Richmond, which has one of the most thriving scenes in the States. Fire and Ice have a groove sort of sound, introspective lyrics and occasional Leeway style melodic vocals.
Interview is with their drummer, Flza.

Hardside interview

I don't know what they're feeding the kids over in Texas, but the state is producing some of the hardest bands hardcore has to offer. Hardside is a relatively new band from San Antonio. Interview with Hardisde's vocalist, Zane.

In Defence interview

I saw In Defence at The Fest 8, where they handed out baseball bats with their logo to the crowd, ordered a punks vs. metal heads wall of death and complained about the lack of violence in modern hardcore. It's all slightly sarcastic, but these are also some motherfuckers I wouldn't want to cross in a dark alley after a show. The music is thrashy along the lines of DRI or Corrosion of Conformity. I talked to their vocalist Ben online:
